1. Who we are
Pemba is an SEO, content and AI visibility platform operated by The Baxter Group AI. Our platform is accessible at pemba.ai. You can contact us at hello@pemba.ai.
2. What data we collect
We collect the following types of data:
- Account information: name, email address, business name
- Website URLs submitted for SEO audits
- Content created or approved through the platform
- Connected account tokens for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Google Business Profile etc.) — stored encrypted
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, audit history
- Payment information processed by Stripe (we do not store card details)
3. How we use your data
- To provide and improve the Pemba platform
- To run automated SEO audits and generate reports
- To publish content to connected platforms on your behalf
- To send service emails including monthly reports and account notifications
- To process payments via Stripe
4. Third-party services
Pemba integrates with the following third-party services to deliver its features:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Supabase — data storage
- Resend — transactional email
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI content generation
- Google Search Console — SEO ranking data (with your authorisation)
- LinkedIn, Google Business Profile — social publishing (with your authorisation)
- Zernio — social media scheduling
Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each integration to function.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 30 days then deleted upon request. Audit history and reports are retained for 12 months.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for connected integrations at any time
