Who is behind Pemba AI?

Founder and CEO
Pemba was started in Melbourne in 2026 by Carly, after two decades working in digital.
Carly started as a web designer in 2001 and went deep across SEO, UX, online marketing, account management and customer experience, working with brands including Porsche, Optus, Asahi Holdings and Commander. Along the way she built and sold iOS apps and earned Apple Search Ads certification.
Those SEO roots are the foundation. As AI rewrote the rules of search she moved with it into AEO (answer engine optimisation) and GEO (generative engine optimisation), and Pemba is the result: the tool she wanted and could not buy anywhere.
